CITY OF FELIPE CARRILLO PUERTO, MEXICO-2008

Visual identity for the city of Felipe Carrillo Puerto, in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The main part of the work consisted on the research of the conditions, life and context of the city, for the creation of a discovery document that consists on the analysis and rationale of the project: economic and demographic facts, contextual landscape, audience, benefits, and concept. The visual identity was developed according to the findings and characteristics of this city: modern, traditional and historic, all at the same time.

Tha mark is based on the traditional value that corn has in this society, representing it as a crown, while using the color of the different kinds of corn to add visual interest.
