LIVING IN DEGREE ZERO | COLLAGES :: 2008

 

Degree Zero, according to Roland Barthes, is a theory that describes the moment when a given situation produces an unknown reaction in mind and body, when there is no image repertoir or previous knowledge to interpret the situation.

 

These collages describes that situation, after the death of my mother in 2005, using the idea of separation, spirituality and desperation.
